The nature of most knits, especially the chunkier varieties that were so favored this season, is that they add volume to your outfit. Therefore, when I wear them I am very careful to balance the layers on my body to avoid going the way of the Michellan man. By layering a silk blouse underneath my sweater I keep the silhouette sleek, not sloppy while adding some interest with a print or contrasting color. My final touch is usually a bold necklace which can act as a great contrast to a rustic texture like a knit!I am loving this earring and necklace set from Ell and Emm as my first attempt at working emerald into my wardrobe this year!
Check out this post as my first Fashion Magazine Canada Style Panel challenge as well as all the other ladies and how they keep knits chic, not shabby!
