I took the night off from work {Doing good on my 2013 resolutions!} and went out Saturday night with my girlfriends Sam and Emily. {We are in DSM, IA not NYC!} Our first stop was The Continental for pre-party drinks and chit chat {I swear we could all talk forhours days}. Then it was off to City Bakery for the Savior Magazine launch party, which is asemiannual publication made up of editorial fashion photography with collaborations by stand-out artists, up-and-coming models and designers. The magazine was created by Des Moines' own Lucy Shay! After the party we attempted to take pictures in the freezing cold on our way to what we thought was going to be a late night filled with drinks and dancing. Instead we ended up at Perkins talking for nearly 2 hours until we decided we better head home.
