I had a last minute NYE 2012 change of plans. My girlfriend called and told me I had 20 minutes to get ready and she meant it, as I am notorious for taking a long time to get ready. I ran to my son's old closet, which I have taken over, and pulled this Rachel Roy dress out, perfect I thought, I never wore it so why not ring in the new year in a new frock? I thought silver shoes would go, so I started pulling boxes, but the heels weren't high enough to me. So I went with some pewter BCBG Max Azria heels. Did my makeup in the car, pulled my hair to one side, and voila. We made it to the soirée overlooking downtown Miami before 12 :D.
