If there is one item that gets some serious wear in my closet it is these black lace shorts. Until I got them at Madewell last year, I didn’t even realize the importance of every girl owning a pair of dressy shorts…they’re a must! I wear them in the summer, as seen here, with just simple tops and sandals. (I love pairing red, navy, tan and black together all in one look!) Come fall, I pair them with black opaque tights and oversized sweaters. It’s great when you find pieces that really do transition easily through the seasons.
