People are wrapped up in snuggies indoors, escaping the polar vortex hitting the tri-state area. I’m wandering outside, feeling every bitter bite on my rosy cheeks spreading to my nose. I take any chance to leave my house. I’ve always said I belong no where. Hence, my itch to go from one place to another.
Clothed besides my thighs, these over-the-knee socks gave me an excuse to wear a skirt. I know what you’re thinking, “Lynn, you’re nuts.” “And…?” would be my only answer. I’ve also been collecting inexpensive snapbacks. I usually wear them on my incognito days, but I like to change it up sometimes. They’re an accessory that I personally get a kick out of but don’t necessarily invest in. I combined three genres in this one outfit - prep, urban, and modern. I envy people who have just one type of fashion personality. So stern and complete, aren’t you? I’m not that simple. I am a combination of plenty of styles, consciously and tastefully put together. I feel like many people can relate to that. Although, some would like to think that people fit into cookie cutter lines, the lines are more permeable and should be more experimental.
What best suits your style?
I finally decided what my New Year’s resolution will be. I will travel much more this year. I’ve already hit Philadelphia. I’ve already committed to Boston, California, Puerto Rico, and Mysterland in Woodstock. There will only be more places to see, things to do, food to eat, drinks to guzzle, and people to connect with.
Don’t you worry. It will be well documented and shared.
Stay warm, my snow bunny neckbreakers!
