I don’t know how exactly, so don’t ask me why, but in my book stripes & leopard print are the all great and glorious pattern neutralizers. They seem to not match, but go with just about everything. A great nautical-based stripe that oozes classic chic injects a little Jackie-O style to any outfit. Then, on the other side of the closet, we have the wild-card pattern known as leopard. The combination of a variety of neautrals (tan, beige, black and brown) naturally lean itself for being an extremely versatile pattern. I will admit, I have a love affair with leopard. Put the two together and not only are you pattern-mixing like a pro, but you have a visually dynamic outfit from the instant the two are paired.
Oh, and see my perfectly volumized tresses? The Salon in Ames gave me amazing hair for the day, Thank you Mr. Joshua Duechene. I love the inconsistent, easy curl that is bursting with bodacious bounce.
