My husband and I are fake tree kind of people. My dad always had a fake tree and my husband's parents always had a fake tree, so before our first Christmas in our home five years ago, it just felt right to go that route. That being said, there's nothing quite like going to pick a Christmas tree in a lot or farm each year. The sites and smells are just delicious. This weekend my sister invited me to tag along with them while they pick out their (real) tree and I jumped at the chance – mostly for the nice photo opp. :)

It was the perfect excuse to wear my new Anthro sweater, which I got last weekend during the 30% off full-priced sweater promotion (omg I love it when Anthro does that).

My sweet nephew decided to photo bomb while he was running in and out of the lines of pines (SO cute!). It's kind of hysterical, but we ended up not buying a tree at the actual tree farm – they ended up finding a prettier (and less expensive) tree at the Home Depot down the street. But we did have a lot of fun walking around taking pictures, so that should count for something.

Here we are in our Anthro-coordinated sweaters. Don't we look festive?
