I finally got some use out of my favorite Black Friday purchase this weekend – these adorable polka dot cords from Anthro. I am so crazy about the style, fit and material. They are SUPER soft, on the thinner side (which is nice in SoCal being that our "winters" are still 65+ degrees) and fitted without being uncomfortable.

I was a little nervous about the print – you know my pattern-phobia – but I've actually found so many uses for them already. Paired with a blazer and a plain tee, it's definitely a sophisticated-enough look for a day at the office, but with a chunky knit sweater and a denim jacket, they're perfect for a day full of holiday shopping and Breaking Dawn 2 (which is totally what my Sunday consisted of – YAY!). I can already tell these will be a new fall/winter staple item.
