Ok let's talk about the obvious,
this awesome Barbie tank of course.
No, that's not what you thought I was going to say? Ok, ok, the hair. Last week I started my heat-less summer, now I know this is a fashion blog, so I won't go into too much detail. But for the sake of my first heat-less post, I'll just say, my heat-less summer means not using heat styling tools to style my hair for about 3 - 4 months. I did this for the first time last summer in a necessary attempt to salvage my horribly heat damaged hair. Going heat-less for the summer worked better than I expected, besides, aint no body got time to spend hours straightening their hair. It's the summer!! hehe . So bear with me while I play around with some heat-less hairstyles this season! :)
Now, back to the original topic, this awesome Barbie tank! I came across this crop top tank at F21 and I'll admit, it was a completely impulsive buy. I mean, it's a Barbie tank. Instant nostalgia. If you feel the same way, then you were probably like me as a child, you spent hours playing with your Barbies fantasizing about grown-up Barbie life.
If we only knew then what we know now, right? But, I digress.
I wanted to dress around my big hair, so I styled the tank with this vintage high waist denim pencil skirt for a relaxed weekend style. I chose to keep my accessories to a minimum, but you can always polish off the look by adding a belt like this or this to accentuate your waistline.
Thanks for reading.
