A few shades took center stage this fall; cheif among them burgundy, however a close second in my opinion, has been mustard. An interesting choice for styling because at first glance it's not that appetizing (mild pun alert), but it is surprisingly versatile in what it pairs with. It lends a rich feeling to an outfit, even more so when done in textures like velvet, silk, and large knits. Match it up with navy, oxblood, and forest green for colorful mixes that are still seasonably appropriate. If you choose to wear this shade with black, pick accessories in different shades to avoid the bumble bee look. What do you think of mustard? Is it something you've tried this Fall?
