The trick to mixing prints for the workplace is to stick to a general color scheme, in this case gray. I bought this shirt at H&M a few months ago, and it wasfeatured on The Everygirl as a great option for "day-to-night" dressing, which is exactly why I wore it in these pictures (I was headed to two happy hours that night). I also bought these houndstooth (or dogstooth, depending on where you live) trousers at H&M. They were on sale for $20 bucks, they fit well, and they're SUPER WARM! Great option for fall and spring, and they'll definitely be wearable in winter with some tights underneath.

My shirt was sheer, but I was warm in my coat. Out of my coat? Not so much...it was back to cold weather as usual last week.

Sheer printed blouse :: H&M (similar here at Madewell)
Houndstooth trousers :: H&M (darker, denim version here at Target)
Suede heels (in light pink) :: H&M (similar height here at Forever 21)
Menswear coat :: Target (similar here)
