If you’re wondering how you can mix prints without looking like a circus clown, you’re in the right place. It can feel tricky at first, but you’ll get the hang of it in no time.

Mixing prints can be tricky, I know. If you want to ease your way in to it, try two basic prints that both have white in them. Here we have checks and dots. Then pick two colors that go well together, here we have orange and blue.

Orange and white checkered shirt. Navy and white polka dot skirt. Easy Peasy!

Then I threw in a pearl necklace to really pay homage to my wanna-be-Southern-roots. If you haven’t noticed by now, I kind of really wish I was a southern belle. ;)
