My Colour of the Moment!  

Can you tell that mustard yellow has been somewhat of a staple for me lately? Well, actually, it’s not really a recent obsession – it’s been my favourite colour for a long time, but I’ve only just started wearing it more! It’s funny, both Barnaby and I are obsessed with the colour. We often realize how ‘matchy’ we look – him in his sunshine yellow jacket and matching sunglasses, and me in my mustard tights or cardigan.

I was actually really, really excited to style up this striped vintage romper! Our August featured sponsor, Recollection Vintage had me pick out anything from the store to dress up – how could I resist! Playsuits are such a go-to garment – plus they are the perfect cure to upskirting on a windy day! I wore it with 1980s Weinbrenner boat shoes, a striped ASOS hat (which I also styled here!) and of course – my trusty mustard cardigan. After peering at myself in the mirror, I thought this looked like the ideal beach outfit – it’s just shame it’s still winter here in New Zealand.  I can definitely see the tell-tale signs of spring approaching though – it’s so exciting, eek!
