Thrifted Dress | Charlotte Russe Sweater | Charming Charlie Necklace (similar one here) |  Gifted Bracelet  | Gifted Ring

This dress is one of my top go-to pieces in my closet. I pick it out when I'm running late for class and I just want something patterned and simple. Like many (if not most) items in wardrobe, I bought it at a thrift store. It's one of those items that you buy because you fall in deep "like" with it on the rack, but once you take it home you're not sure what it will go with or why you even bought it in the first place. It wasn't until recently that I decided to actually start incorporating it into my regular pieces.

I've said plenty of times that this blog is as much a memoir of my personal style as it is a timeline of my personal growth. I've just realized within the past few weeks how far I've come in this whole "growing up" process, but I've also realized just how much farther I have to go. Many people my age are already beginning to center their focus on making money their life goal and dream. My one and most important goal is just to be happy doing something I love.

I've been talking a lot about needing a change and wanting to really see what all this life has to offer, but I guess as long as I add value to my life by adding a little happiness to someone else's I'll have all that I need and more.

"What matters is the value we’ve created in our lives, the people we've made happy and how much we've grown as people."
