When I spotted several matched sets on
Shopbop’s homepage last week, I had a
Veruca Salt kind of moment. As in
“I Want it Now,” though I wasn’t thrown down a garbage chute later. But seriously, I still want both styles of every pattern that was featured.
.

.
I don’t think it’s too much to ask since since such pieces can be worn together or alone, ready and able to achieve a different look every time.
.
Tibi’s Starfish print has me longing for the beach, and I love it both as a
cami and a
pleated pant. The print pulls a punch, but this style can certainly be worn together. To convince the purchase of both pieces, just imagine all the versatility.
.
For a laid back look, try the cami with a bright, simple pant like
this from J.Crew and fun shoes like
these from Zara. Add a chambray shirt for fun, or leave it alone if the weather’s right. Always a fan of graphic prints, I love the starry pant paired with
Zoe Karssen Madame Sweatshirt and Charlotte Olympia’s
unreal Velvet Kitty Flat.
.
.
And then there are the nights
we felt alive. I’m obsessed with the perfect structure of sass & bide’s
to laugh out loud skirt, and its black and white features undoubtedly complement the tank. Gold accents, such as
these Tory Burch babes, complete a fun nighttime look. For warmth on the legs, Tibi’s pant look great with
this Equipment blouse and Cole Haan’s
Chelsea Strap Sandal.
.
And then there’s Club Monaco, a more recent discovery of mine. Along with other in-store items, I’ve also been missing out on their amazing printed set. Like many jackets, the
Baker Blazer could be your wardrobe staple, and what a plus that it’s floral and gorge. For casual affairs à la lunching or shopping, the piece looks fantastic with a pair of boyfriend jeans like
these and a comfy
James Perse tee. I’m super into the daintiness of Tory Burch’s black
Verity Ballet flat, which is available in
brown, too.
.
Their
Sonica Botanical Skinny Pant is fantastic, and also easy to pair for those casual occassions. I’m an all-around fan of sneaker wedges, making
these neutral Ash ones a great choice. The pink shade of
this A.P.C coral sweatshirt pairs well with the wild(er) bottoms, pulling out the pinks of the pant.

.
Both Club Monaco picks can also be snazzed up for evenings. The
blazer is chic with my recent obsession –
this short dress by Boy by Band of Outsiders. Zara obviously makes a great pair of shoes, and
these heels are no exception. As for the
pant, I like it with neutrals. A silk blouse like
this one and Michael Kors’
Adrielle pump really pull the look together.
.
Are you Veruca Salt’ing over all of this too, or am I the only one crazy for printed pairings?
