Well as you may already know if you saw my last illustration post, I’ve been very inspired by Betsey Johnson’s NYFW Spring 2013 collection. She’s really stayed true to her code of making bright-colored, flirty, ultra-feminine pieces (and without being overly cutesie) and one of my faves from the runway was the outfit you see pictured here. The orange lace dress somehow manages to complement a green swimsuit, the oversized flower fascinator makes a great hat and the cigar box purse is a fun alternative to a clutch. Seriously, it’s just hard not to smile when you look at this year’s collection.
