It's been a stressful two weeks - I've been MIA - due to some heath issues we are dealing with for my teenage daughter. She's on the mend, and I'm hoping to step back into the swing of things!
This was an outfit post I drafted a few weeks. That day, I needed an outfit that I could draw strength from, yet be warm and comfortable. I chose a pair of camouflage jeans paired with an oversized mustard Facconable jacket that my mom sent me. Things that my mom send me always make me feel good because they remind me of her wisdom, strength, warmth, energy, love and support!
The Facconable jacket is oversized, so comfy and WARM - perfect for this chilly fall weather we're having!
On stressful days, I always reach for items that bring me comfort. My Georgia Fletcher necklace has a prayer-bead-like design with vintage religious charms - this one is a vintage Buddha charm.
An armparty, consisting of another religious charm - my Alex & Ani Mother Theresa charm bracelet, a leather bracelet with the words "Live in Love," and misc bracelets that have sentimental value - all items that bring me comfort with their happy memories and significances.
And I LOVE doubling up on chunky rings!
And these vintage Saks 5th Avenue boots & my See by Chloe bucket bag complete the outfit!
On stressful days, I surround myself with things that have meaning to me. And each time I need a little energy boost, I rub those prayer beads, I feel all the details in each piece of jewelry, I hug myself with my warm jacket, and those little things bring me the strength and comfort I need!
Jeans: Target Camouflage jeans
Bag: See by Chloe
Boots: Vintage Saks Fifth Avenue
Accessories: Michael Kors Watch, Alex & Ani Mother Theresa religious charm bracelet, LIVE IN LOVE embroidered leather bracelet, House of Harlow ring, Panther ring
PS - I'm TOTALLY BANANAS over religious charms!
