DIY: Sewing - Artist in Residence Dress

Every closet needs that one dress you just know is going to catch every eye when you walk into the room, and we're pretty sure this dress is it. Featuring a bubble hem, asymmetrical neckline, and (our favorite feature) pockets - the Artist in Residence dress is truly a piece of art.

While we whipped ours up in a dreamy brushstroke effect fabric, we think this dress will look equally as stunning in a small scale pattern, or even a textured solid. Layer it with a tee or turtleneck (like we did here), or wear it alone for a more formal affair - it's gonna be hard to not want to wear this beauty every day of the week.
