When I was home visiting my parents for the holidays 2011/2012 I pretty much knitted day and night and decided to start making my own knitting patterns. My parents live outside the city (we don't even have a supermarket nearby) and we don't have a TV in our living room, just a beautiful view of nature. This gave me the inspiration, time, and focus for my first pattern!
