So this week I attempted at my very first craft. I wanted to find something simple, cost effective, and of course cute. I really like the fun shape and the fabric was so cheap, which I found at Hobby Lobby. I plan to make some more, probably one for my office as well. All you need is:

  • Cork board tiles
  • Fabric of your choice
  • Heat n Bond Ultra (found at Wal-Mart or Hobby Lobby)
  • Iron
  • Scissors or exacto knife
  • Mouse pad template

one. Trace the shape onto the cork board using a dark writing utensil, such as a sharpie marker.

two. Cut the shape with an exacto knife, or if the cork tile is thin, you can use scissors.

three. Trace the shape onto the fabric.

four. After applying the heat and bond to thefabric, cut the shape out of the heat and bond.

five. After applying the heat and bond to the fabric, and cutting the shape, apply the fabric to the cork tile.

Generally, heat and bond comes with directions that will guide you. If you have any questions, leave me a comment below and I will help you!

I hope you guys enjoy making this craft for yourself and your friends too! These make great gifts!

Happy Crafting!
