It's all about finding fantastic fashion on a budget.
Since I was so inspired last week by Judy Aldrich's "Thrift Store Essentials" - I went on my own thrifting adventure. I found a GREAT genuine mink fur coat for $40 - you can see that post here and here. Since I was testing out Judy's Thrift Store Essentials, I found a double-breasted houndstooth blazer - similar to the one she posted on her blog!
You can throw a simple black & white doublebreasted blazer onto just about any outfit and it's instantly becomes CHIC. Since this look is paired with jeans & a vintage-looking t-shirt, it's casual chic. I'm guessing that this is circa 1980's based on the style of this blazer - cut, the shoulder pads, and the size of the lapels. It's Hugo Buscati, and I just LOVE it! I paired it with my Seven 7 For All Mankind jeans in the Aztec print (fits like a glove and soft like butter!) and a black/white Beatles t-shirt from Forever21.
I happened to have some fun photo props from a tradeshow yesterday...and I like being silly and goofy whenever I can get away with it...
I purchased these black Aldo boots like a million years old - perfectly worn in and still beautiful! Michael Kors bag, and some simple gold jewelry - Michael Kors watch & a vintage gold cuff.
Jacket: Hugo Buscati - circa 1980'
Shirt: Beatles t-shirt from Forever21
Jeans: Seven 7 For All Mankind in Aztec print (last season)
Bag: Michael Kors (old)
Shoes: Aldo (old)
Accessories: Michael Kors watch, vintage gold cuff
Now I'm off to find a fur collar for this jacket!
XOXO

PS - I'm TOTALLY BANANAS over it ALL!
