Okay ladies, it’s time to assemble and join the fash march towards fall’s most attention grabbing trend.Brands such as Elizabeth and James, Jason Wu, Victoria Beckham, and Marc by Marc Jacobs all showcased military inspired pieces in their fall collections helping prove that it is possible to rock this trend without looking like you just strolled off the set of “Saving Private Ryan.”As someone who grew up in the south I never imagined the day I’d see camouflage pieces strutting down the runway. While it might be a good idea to leave the fatigues to the real American heroes, we still have plenty of less dominating options to choose from. As someone who considers their style to be girly and colorful, the challenge of incorporating camo into my closet has become somewhat addictive. To balance out the masculinity associated with the structured jacket, simply pair your camouflage pieces with a super feminine dress or skirt in a pale color palette.
