Getting a little artsy with an all black outfit.
From the norm of what I usually wear being a mix of colors, and basics I chose this outfit to wear: all black. It was interesting to see the dark side of things from my usual blues and corals but black is such a complimentary color, that is versatile and chic. To avoid being to matchy-matchy I put on different textures of black. From bottom up (the shoes are my favorite) I began with these retro leather boots that I borrowed from my mom. You can definitely tell that they are from a time when elegance came with a quarter-height, kitten-heel boot (no nonsense over the knee boots which I struggle to find since basically my whole leg would be covered . . . the woes of being petite). That is probably what grabbed my attention plus the advantage of walking longer distances is always a perk. Then we go to the lace jeans which allows people to see I am actually wearing seperates. Though overalls are making a comeback this season. Hmmmmm. Then we have a thick scarf to protect me from the wind and a black tee. Wayfarer sunnies and an oversized men's watch are always nice gestures.
What do we have planned for the weekend? I have a special project to work on which I will tell you about soon and a photoshoot.
Have a fabulous weekend!
xoox,
Danielle
