Rodarte's Spring/Summer 2013 collection was inspired by "fantasy role-playing games" and modern medieval times. Models rocked natural makeup with fantasy inspired clothing. Jewel-encrusted designs and geometric color blocked pieces were just some of the looks on the runway. NARS Cosmetics lead artist, James Kaliardos stated, "The inspiration for everything - hair, makeup, even nails - was modern medieval."
